A day in the wake of leaving the 2022 World Cup in tears as his opportunities to win the competition without precedent for his profession were broken, Portugal genius striker Cristiano Ronaldo said bringing a World Cup title to Portugal was "the greatest and most aggressive dream" of his vocation however "the fantasy was delightful while it endured."
Portugal was stunned 1-0 by Morocco in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
"To win a World Cup for Portugal was the greatest and most aggressive dream of my profession," Ronaldo composed on Instagram on Sunday.
"Luckily, I came out on top for a great deal of championships of global aspect, including Portugal, yet to place the name of our country in the most elevated level on the planet was my greatest dream.
"I battled for it. I battled a great deal for that fantasy.
